The Human Resources (HR) Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing various aspects of the human resources functions within the company. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of HR policies, procedures, and practices to effectively support the organization and its employees.
Role & Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
Compliance and Legal: Stay informed about federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Payroll: to calculate the salaries or wages for employees based on various factors and responsible for deducting various taxes, contributions, and other with holdings from employees paychecks. Ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees while complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
Desired Candidate profile
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in human resources roles, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
