Payroll Processing:
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing activities, including calculations, deductions, and adjustments.
- Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and allowances through electronic transfer systems.
- Verify accuracy of payroll data, including attendance records, overtime, leaves, bonuses, and other compensation components.
Compliance Management:
- Stay updated with relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements related to payroll in India.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other statutory deductions and filings.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll returns as per regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in compliance with data protection laws.
- Generate payroll reports and summaries for management review and audit purposes.
- Handle documentation related to employee exits, final settlements, and gratuity payments.
Employee Support:
- Address payroll-related queries and issues from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist employees with understanding their pay slips, tax deductions, and other payroll-related matters.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency using payroll software and automation tools.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to implement best practices in payroll administration.
Candidate Requirement:
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax calculations, and statutory compliance in India.
