Job Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior HR Manager with extensive experience in the fashion and apparel sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, performance management, payroll, and compliance, ensuring our HR operations run smoothly and effectively. This role is critical in maintaining a dynamic and inclusive work environment, driving employee engagement, and aligning HR practices with our company's goals. Experience with HRMS implementations and their use is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Hiring: Develop and implement recruitment strategies specific to the fashion and apparel industry. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Performance Management: Lead the performance appraisal process, support managers with performance improvement plans, and implement employee development programs.
- Payroll Management: Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, manage benefits and compensation, and resolve payroll-related inquiries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, conduct regular audits, and maintain updated HR policies.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment, address grievances, manage conflict resolution, and drive employee engagement initiatives.
- HR Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, manage the HR budget, and analyze HR metrics for continuous improvement.
- HRMS Implementation and Use: Lead the implementation of HRMS solutions, ensure their effective use, and provide training to staff as needed.
Key Result Areas (KRA):
- Recruitment Efficiency: Time to fill positions, quality of hires, new hire retention rate
- Performance Management: Completion rate of appraisals, improvement in performance scores, development program participation
- Payroll Accuracy: Timeliness and accuracy of processing, reduction in errors
- Compliance: Audit results, number of issues resolved
- Employee Engagement: Satisfaction scores, participation in activities, turnover reduction
Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
- Average time to hire: Target 45 days
- First-year retention rate: Target 90%
- Completion rate of performance reviews: Target 100%
- Payroll accuracy: Target 100%
- Compliance violations: Target 0
- Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS): Target 50
- Annual turnover rate: Target 10%
Qualifications:
- MBA in Human Resources or related field is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience in the fashion and apparel industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, payroll, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in HRMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
