Job Role:

An HR Administrator is responsible for providing essential administrative support to the Human Resources department. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations and maintaining accurate employee records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Records:
  • Maintain and update employee personnel files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Prepare and manage employee contracts, offer letters, and employment agreements.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding:
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and benefits enrollment.
  • Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews and final paychecks.
  • Payroll Support:
  • Assist in gathering and verifying payroll data.
  • Process time off requests, leaves of absence, and other payroll-related transactions.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Manage employee benefit enrollment and changes.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and policies.
  • HR Systems:
  • Maintain and update HR databases and systems.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR data.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with audits and record-keeping.
  • Recruitment:
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Experience in HR administration a plus.
