HR Manager, New Delhi Office

The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team in our New Delhi, India office.

The Role

Responsibilities

As the HR Manager in our New Delhi office, you will play a crucial role in supporting the employee life cycle, from on-boarding to off-boarding. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recruitment and on-boarding.
  • Collaborate with the global HR team to coordinate the hiring process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
  • Manage on-boarding activities for new hires in the New Delhi office.
  • Continuously review and improve the on-boarding program to ensure its effectiveness.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies and practices.
  • Manager POSH policy and procedures
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Assist with ICCT's performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
  • Provide training and development to staff and organization leaders.

Compliance and Legal

  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Monitor changes in labor laws and update policies accordingly.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Collaborate with the Global HR Director when conducting compensation studies and evaluating benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with local standards.

Employee Engagement and Wellness

  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution
  • Organize employee engagement activities and initiatives to foster a sense of community

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a global, non-profit, or mission-driven organization
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and resolve conflicts
  • Experience in driving employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Proficiency in using HR information systems and data analysis
