Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Partner closely with department heads to understand hiring needs and strategize on sourcing the best talent to meet those needs.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize a variety of platforms, including social media, professional networks, and recruitment agencies, to attract both active and passive candidates.
- Interviewing & Evaluation: Screen and interview candidates, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of their skills, cultural fit, and potential to contribute to the Makoons vision.
- Database Management: Maintain an organized and up-to-date candidate database, tracking progress and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
- Offer Management: Handle the offer process, including negotiations, documentation, and finalization, ensuring alignment with internal policies and approvals.
- Onboarding: Oversee the pre and post-offer formalities, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
- HR Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities are in line with HR compliance standards and internal controls.
- Process Optimization: Continuously seek ways to improve recruitment processes, utilizing technology and innovative practices to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with recruitment vendors, from initial identification through contracting and invoicing.
Desired Profile:
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in HR, specifically in Talent Acquisition.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with recruitment tools, social media platforms, and databases.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze recruitment data, manage dashboards, and provide insightful reports to the HR team and business leaders.
- Ownership & Initiative: A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Cultural Fit: A deep understanding of the unique needs of educational institutions and the ability to align recruitment practices with Makoons values.
