Human Resources Manager
Position Overview:
SitDown Design & Strategy is a dynamic design and marketing agency based in New Delhi, specializing in delivering creative and strategic solutions to clients.
As a Human Resource Manager at SitDown Design & Strategy, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR activities, including hiring, attendance tracking, leave management, grievance handling, communication, and employee engagement. You will ensure that HR operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hiring Process:
- Post job openings for graphic designers, video editors, content writers, and social media managers on various job hiring platforms.
- Maintain and update an Excel sheet to track job applications, recording candidate details and application statuses.
- Collaborate with department managers to shortlist candidates and schedule interviews, informing candidates of interview details promptly.
2. Attendance and Leave Management:
- Monitor and record daily employee attendance, updating attendance records in the employee database.
- Assist managers in reviewing leave requests, determining leave balances, and approving leaves.
- Calculate monthly salaries based on attendance and approved leaves, and coordinate with co-founders for accurate salary disbursement.
3. Grievance Handling:
- Address employee grievances by listening, documenting, and discussing issues with managers to find appropriate solutions.
- Communicate resolutions to employees and ensure timely issue resolution.
4. Communication:
- Relay official messages and announcements from management to employees accurately and promptly.
5. Employee Engagement:
- Organize and plan Fun Fridays to enhance employee engagement and morale.
6. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, including job application databases, attendance logs, and leave and salary records.
- - Prepare and process HR documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and termination paperwork.
- - Support the induction and onboarding process for new employees.
7. Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all HR activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google sheets and HR management software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
