Job Title: HR Director - E-Learning Platform (K-12)
Salary Range Upto 10LPA plus (E-SOPS)
Job Summary:
The HR Director for our e-learning platform specializing in K-12 education is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the organization's mission and growth objectives. This role will oversee all HR functions, ensuring alignment with industry regulations, fostering a positive work culture, and attracting and retaining talent critical to our platform's success.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the platform's goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HR-related issues.
2. Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for all roles within the organization, including teachers, content developers, and administrative staff.
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the e-learning and K-12 education sectors.
- Implement effective talent management practices, including performance management, career development, and succession planning.
3. Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Manage employee relations issues and promote a positive work environment.
- Implement programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Conduct surveys and analyze feedback to improve employee experience.
4. Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of educators and support staff.
- Ensure continuous learning opportunities are available to enhance skills and knowledge in e-learning technologies and K-12 pedagogy.
5. Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures relevant to the e-learning industry and K-12 education.
6. Compensation and Benefits:
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and analysis to ensure pay equity and market competitiveness.
7. HR Administration:
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for HR-related expenses.
8. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Develop and implement initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Monitor progress and outcomes related to DEI goals and objectives.
9. HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize HR analytics to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, recruitment effectiveness, and employee engagement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Director or in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within the e-learning or K-12 education sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
Work Environment:
The HR Director will work primarily in an office environment, with flexibility for remote work as needed. This role may require occasional travel to attend conferences, meetings, or school sites.
