HR Director
Reporting to the VP of People, Places and Culture, the Human Resources Director will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the human resources function within Alphawave Semi India. Responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals and ensure the effective management of the workforce. The HR Director also acts as a key advisor to senior management, helping to create a positive and productive work environment. The Human Resources Director is a pivotal role that contributes to the success of the organization by ensuring the development and management of a talented and motivated workforce, compliance with laws and regulations, and the creation of a positive workplace culture. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of HR practices.
What You'll Do:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Collaborate in the development and execution of human resources strategies that support the organization's business objectives.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure new employees integrate successfully.
- Manage employee development and training programs.
Employee Relations:
- Address and resolve workplace conflicts, disputes, and grievances in a fair and legal manner.
- Promote a positive work environment and a culture that encourages open communication and employee engagement.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct regular salary and benefits benchmarking to ensure the organization remains competitive in the job market.
Compliance and Legal Matters:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations globally.
Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance appraisal process and support managers in providing constructive feedback to employees.
- Implement performance improvement plans as necessary.
Policy Development:
- Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure consistency and fairness in policy application.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.
- Implement strategies to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze HR data to assess the effectiveness of HR programs.
- Generate reports for senior management on key HR performance indicators.
Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in human resources, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HR software and technology.
