Job Description

Title: HR Coordinator

LOCATION: Chennai

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

REPORTING TO: Associate HR Director

YOUR ROLE:

We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employee's records. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. He/She will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR administrative and HR operations. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools.

Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including new hire setups, initiation, and collection of New Hire documents and maintain the employee database, conducting new hire orientation, e-verify, exit interviews, training compliance reporting, etc.
  • Provides support and counsel on HR policies as necessary; ensures fair and consistent application of company policies, procedures. Escalates areas of concern to Associate HR Director.
  • Maintains accurate employee records and data and complies reports and analysis from the database

Support performing background checks

Schedule meetings, HR events etc. and maintain the team's agenda

Produce and submit reports on general HR activity

Identify issues impacting employee engagement

Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years exempt level work experience working as a HR Coordinator
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to interpret and run data using HRIS databases
  • Ability to work independently and effectively plan and prioritize work
  • Knowledge and experience with HR management systems and other HR software applications to track information and generate reports
  • Must apply proactiveness in daily work routine
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Must have good interpersonal, presentation and written skills

EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Microsoft office skills
