Job Summary
Support the Human Resources department in day-to-day functions.
Major Responsibilities
Description % of Time
- Coordinate Company events such as employee morale events, holiday party, and picnic. Coordinate detailed logistics with internal departments and with vendors, managing to a specific budget.
- Facilitate and lead New Employee Connection
- Process educational assistance records, recognition awards, and employment verifications
- Process and distribute service awards for all PAC locations
- Process, review, and administer I-9 program to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Responsible for processing department mail and ordering office supplies
- Perform general clerical duties for HR department as well as special projects
- Process check requests, purchase requisitions, expense reports, travel advances, etc.
- Maintain Fun Express discount tickets
- Create packets for New Employee Connection
- Maintain personnel files and ensure file room is organized
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Communications: (key communications contacts and level of persuasion required)
- Excellent written and verbal skills required. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels. Ability to retain and protect confidential material.
- Problem-Solving: (complexity of problems, creativity, and other problem-solving requirements)
- Ability to apply knowledge of HR principles to administer day-to-day tasks, duties, and responsibilities.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Know-How: (education, experience, and other knowledge requirements)
- High School Graduate. AA or BA preferred. Minimum of 5+ years administrative work experience and 1 year
- HR generalist experience preferred. Ability to function independently and maintain workflow with minimal supervision. Must have advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access software. Experience with
- Oracle desirable.
Other Requirements
- Bending, stooping to file. Will spend long periods sitting at a workstation operating a PC.
