Yext is seeking a
Human Resources Business Partner who will be responsible for driving a set of strategic HR efforts including but not limited to: performance management, employee engagement and retention, compensation strategy, legal compliance, and HR operational excellence. In this position, you will support programmatic HR efforts and partner directly with leaders on their people-related strategy. This person will also be responsible for championing the Yext culture and will help us deliver a positive employee experience across Yext.
What You'll Do
- Support core HR processes, such as employee engagement, onboarding and off-boarding, benefits administration (health and welfare, fringe), retention, performance management, and compensation planning
- Advise line managers on people-related strategy and decisions in the areas of organisational design, compensation, retention, employee relations, legal compliance, and administration
- Collaborate within the People Team to develop and implement region-specific strategies and programs based on data insights and metrics
- Proactively manage legal risk; ensure manager and employee compliance within the company
- Manage/build and implement policies and procedures specific to the region
- Proactively respond to employee questions including but not limited to; employee relations, company policies, benefits, and learning and development
- Act as a trusted resource and partner to the VP, India Operations
- Partner closely with all internal G&A partners including talent & recruiting, HR operations, people analytics compensation/benefits, finance, procurement, and accounting, information technology, and legal
What You Have
- University degree or similar college level education with a focus on Human Resources preferred
- Experience working with global teams and ability to partner with management in other regions to advise on local legislation and best practices
- 3+ years of HR experience in a Generalist or HRBP capacity
- Experience supporting employee populations and being involved in day to day employment matters.
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement and exceeding client expectations
- Comfortable rolling up sleeves to get things done, and at the next moment being part of strategy discussions
- Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesising data to identify themes and build solutions to address those issues
- Strong advising and coaching skills and the ability to build strong relationships with all levels across the organisation
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
- Familiarity with employee relations and employment law, and performance management
