PolicyBazaar.com is India&39;s largest insurance marketplace and a leading fintech player

globally. It has backing from a host of investors including the likes of SoftBank, InfoEdge

(Naukri.com), Temasek, Tiger Global Management, True North, Premji Invest. The portal started in 2008 with a purpose to educate people on insurance products and has had a significant influence on how insurance is bought in India. It has helped in driving penetration of pure life insurance, health insurance, and such products which were barely bought earlier.

From receiving traffic of 180,000 visitors in 2008, PolicyBazaar.com has come a long way

and today hosts over 100 million visitors yearly, and records 10 transactions on its platform every minute. The company collected Rs 3,500 cr of insurance premium in FY19, and is on track to double this figure in FY20. PolicyBazaar.com accounts for nearly 25% of India's life cover, and over 7% of India's retail health business. It accounts for roughly half of all internet based insurance purchases in the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling queries and grievances of the employee within the framework of the company policy and carry out detailed investigations if needed.
  • Must have experience in employee engagement .
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Prepare HR dashboards and reports for the management.
  • Ensure training and grooming of the HR Team to enhance their performance.
  • Closely monitor the day to day activities of the team and take corrective measures as needed.
  • Keep a regular check on the active count of the span and getting the same validated from the Ops Team on a regular basis.
  • Supporting the business in all HR related queries for a smooth day to day operation.
  • Handing Negative BGV Cases as and when needed as per the company policy.
  • Coordinating with the other support departments (IT, Admin, Finance, Central HR) for smooth functioning of the BU HR.
  • Coordinate with the BU for closure of all discipline/ performance related escalations as per the company policy.

: Experience:4-7years is required for this role.

Key Requirements

  • Should have a pleasing personality with excellent communication skills (Native/ Professional level proficiency in English as well as the local language).
  • Should be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Should be able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Should have an analytical bend of mind with a keen sense of observation and a proactive approach.
  • A prior experience in managing a team will be an added advantage.
  • Employee engagement will be an added advantage.
