Job Description: Human Resources Intern

Position: HR Intern
Location: Sector 43, Gurugram
Duration: 3 Months
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: HR Manager / HR Team Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administration. The intern will assist in the daily operations of the HR department and contribute to both routine tasks and ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Selection:
  • Assist in posting job openings on company job boards, career pages, and external platforms.
  • Screen resumes and assist with initial candidate shortlisting.
  • Coordinate interview schedules and maintain candidate communication.
  • Assist in the preparation of job descriptions and employment contracts.
  • Onboarding & Employee Support:
  • Assist in the onboarding process, including preparing new hire documentation and organizing orientation sessions.
  • Ensure proper documentation of employee files and records.
  • Support the HR team in answering employee queries related to company policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Employee Data & Records Management:
  • Help maintain and update employee records in the HR system.
  • Ensure compliance with company data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Assist in tracking employee attendance and leave records.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture:
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of employee engagement activities and events.
  • Support initiatives to improve company culture and employee satisfaction.
  • HR Administration:
  • Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including updating HR templates, preparing reports, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Help organize and participate in HR meetings and training sessions.
  • Collaborate on various HR projects such as performance appraisals, training, and development.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates may also be considered.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in HR or office administration (internships, part-time jobs) is a plus but not required.
