Job Description:

As an HR Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and exposure to different aspects of human resources while assisting with daily activities and projects. This is an unpaid remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Selection:

Assisting with job postings on various platforms and job boards.

Reviewing resumes and applications and conducting initial screenings.

Scheduling interviews and coordinating interview logistics.

Onboarding and Orientation:

Assisting in the preparation of new hire documentation and orientation materials.

Coordinating the onboarding process for new employees.

Conducted orientation sessions and provided support to new hires.

Employee Records and Documentation:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Assisting in preparing employee contracts, offer letters, and other employment-related documents.

Organizing and filing employee documents, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.

Assisting with data entry and updating employee information.

HR Policies and Procedures:

Assisting in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.

Providing support in communicating HR policies to employees.

Employee Relations:

Assisting with employee engagement initiatives.

Assisting in planning and organizing employee events and activities.

Responding to basic employee inquiries and providing general HR support.

Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive employee information with discretion.

HR Projects and Reporting:

Assisting with various HR projects such as performance management, employee surveys, and training programs.

Compiling and analyzing HR data to generate reports and presentations.

Assisting in preparing presentations and materials for HR meetings.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from tier 1 and 2.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
