Key Responsibilities:_
- Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Recruitment and On-boarding:
Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
Facilitate the on-boarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the company.
- Performance Management:
Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
Assist in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
- Training and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
- HR Policy and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Employee Engagement and Retention:
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.
Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to improve retention strategies.
- HR Administration:
Manage HR documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and disciplinary actions.
Prepare HR reports and analyse HR metrics to inform decision-making.
_Qualifications:_
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry.
Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
