Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Act as the liaison and single point of contact between the Community Management team and the building's Property Management team for any escalated issues.

2. Escalation point for community teams within their portfolio for vendor-related issues

3. Monthly oversight of facilities budgets and spending.

4. Project manage portfolio large-scale maintenance projects including Capital Improvement support

5. Ensure implementation and execution of Capital projects; scope, schedule, and budget (e.g. security and asset mgmt projects)

6. Work with vendors to Increase operational effectiveness & efficiency of buildings and infrastructure

7. Monitor governance and cost-saving initiatives

8. Weekly review of the Salesforce data reports

9. Ensures completion of punch list prior to building openings in order to transfer operations to Supplier

10. Represent our business during the openings process, participate in building opening handover and punch list completion in order to deliver complete asset to supplier

11. Project manage rollouts to locations and suppliers including HSE, Energy/Sustainability, OPEX, Security, and Capital Improvements

12. Ensure Fire & Life Safety & local code compliance, OSHA training, and H&S Standards Survey with support of the Regional Health and Safety team

13. Forecast long-term programs and upgrades needed

14. Illustrate the core values and strive to achieve our mission

15. Support vendor technology changes and integration

16. Keycard access for vendors and enterprise special security

Pre Requisites

1. Preferred a BA graduate or equivalent experience.

2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in facilities or operations management, including managing suppliers and vendors with contract management experience.

3. Familiarity in lease operations language and execution

4. Must be able to work independently or on a team

5. Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills.

6. Experience utilizing union vendors

7. One or more of the following certifications preferred: Building Operations credentials; Facilities Management certifications
