Roles & Responsibilities
Basic Work Profile
Ensures that all tools, equipment and procedures meet the company's quality, health, safety, security and environmental regulations, specifications and certification requirements by 1) supporting accident and incident investigations, 2) conducting inspections on the vessel and at the base, 3) reporting situations that may be hazardous, and 4) helping to create a plan of action for treatment of non-conformity.
Core Responsibilities
- Create safety awareness and carry out safety meetings, mock drill exercise, safety induction and safety trainings to existing and new team members on the sites
- Enforce Safe Work Practices at the sites and create a positive safety culture
- Drive the implementation of Fugro's HSSE programs and carry out site HSSE campaigns
- Draft site HSSE procedures and guidelines, when required
- Assist in investigation of workplace incidents
- To ensure subcontractors comply to the requirements of the Safety Management System which outlined their responsibilities and commitments
- Submit a Weekly and Monthly HSSE Report and Statistics to India QHSSE team.
- Carry out and assist in HSSE inspections and audits at the sites and support the site team in closing out the observations effectively.
- Ensure proper HSSE documentation and implementation
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and relevant stakeholders
- Ensure crew accommodation, site vehicles, site related travels are all in compliance with Fugro's standards
- Support India QHSSE team and perform any other relevant task assigned by the Country QHSSE Manager or HSSE Manager
Education, Skills & Experience
- Diploma in Industrial Safety, Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH
- Minimum 3 years
- Certification in First-aid/IOSH
