The HR Training & Placement Officer will be responsible for overseeing both HR training initiatives and student placement activities within the institute. This dual role involves designing and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and managing the placement process to ensure students secure suitable job opportunities.
Training Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs on various HR topics such as employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and compliance.
Needs Assessment: Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for development within the organization.
Content Creation: Prepare training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules, tailored to the needs of the audience.
Delivery and Facilitation: Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and online, to employees at all levels.
Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends in HR training and development to ensure programs are current and effective.
Company Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with employers to create job opportunities and placement options for students.
Placement Drives: Organize and coordinate placement drives, career fairs, and on-campus recruitment events to connect students with potential employers.
Career Counseling: Provide individual career counseling to students, including assistance with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
Data Management: Track and analyze placement statistics, student feedback, and industry trends to enhance placement strategies and improve outcomes.
Collaboration: Work closely with faculty and administrative staff to align placement activities with curriculum and student career goals.
Market Awareness: Stay informed about job market trends and industry demands to offer relevant guidance and support to students.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., HR certifications) are preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in HR training, placement services, or related roles.
Skills: Strong knowledge of HR practices, training methodologies, and placement strategies.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle both training and placement responsibilities effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using training software and placement management systems is a plus.
