Job Roles:
1. The candidate should be extremely strong in Payroll Management with experience in Manual (Excel) based payroll process, while experience in an automated payroll system would be an added advantage.
2. The incumbent should be very strong in payroll and personnel related data management, maintenance of the Central MIS for all staff categories.
3. Be a one stop-shop and an expert at answering payroll related queries by both the Management and staff.
4. Have a deep enough understanding of payroll and compliance processes so that the individual can be involved in related projects.
5. Experience handling Expat related pay activities including taxation would be preferred (but not mandatory). Such experience would also involve maintaining related expense ledgers as well as any related reporting.
6. Ability to handle other HR Activities within HR Operations as needed, particularly overseeing certain parts of the HR Operations process outside of the payroll function.
7. Keep up-to-date with the changing regulatory frameworks as well as an objective to implement best practices in HR Operations.
Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal written communication combined with strong people skills. This would be a very core soft skill required for this role.
- Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
- Desire to work as a part of a team with enough strength in Payroll so as to meaningfully contribute to the strategic parts of HR as well.
- Strong empathy and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to grasp and interpret policies, statutes, etc so that a command is acquired in the area thus strengthening the overall payroll function for the Company.
