HR Operations Associate

In this role, you will be a part of the Global HR Operations organization that is responsible for providing simple, scalable, and efficient core HR services to all Expedia employees worldwide. This includes delivering front line customer support, processing high volume transactions, and improving many aspects of the employee experience.

As the HR Operations Associate, you will provide direct support for employee related activities in Workday with a focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience, processing transactions with high quality and proactively identifying ways to improve service delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Provide excellent customer service by effectively evaluating employee/HR requests in ServiceNow and promptly responding to issues with high-quality solutions.
  • Process employment status changes and updates.
  • Support programs by preparing documents, creating presentations, validating data, and providing basic instructions to team members and clients.
  • Generate reports and data requests for team members and clients as needed.
  • Undertake project-based work in areas such as employment, employee communications, employee events, benefits, and salary administration.
  • Audit and verify the accuracy of data by running and analyzing reports.
  • Build process flow and procedural documentation to improve overall operational performance.
  • Identify areas for improving service quality and timeliness.

Who You Are

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, immigration, mobility, benefits enrollments/amendments including but not limited to health & life insurance, retirement plans, meal vouchers, commute, etc.).
  • Advanced/intermediate proficiency in Excel, along with a strong working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Highly customer-oriented approach, committed to achieving excellent levels of customer service.
  • Adequate experience in supporting multiple data reports such as payroll inputs, monthly change summaries, meal voucher processing, etc.
  • Articulate and fluent communicator.
  • Demonstrated initiative to build and improve processes with team members.
  • Ability to interpret and understand HR data.
  • Proactive self-starter who can work well under pressure in an environment of continuous change.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
