Overview
The HR Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization's HR functions are aligned with its strategic goals. They are responsible for overseeing the overall HR operations and driving HR initiatives to support the growth and development of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including training and overseeing the HR team
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues
- Oversee and manage performance appraisal systems that drive high performance
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure the organization's compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Revise and update the company's handbook on policies and procedures
- Lead by example, embodying the organization's values, and endeavoring to maintain its reputation and integrity
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field
- Proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- People-oriented and results-driven
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
- Proven leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
