Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of payroll processes and be able to provide valuable insights for improving our HR operations. Additionally, this role will involve testing and providing feedback on our in-house HR software to ensure it meets the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Oversee and manage the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and company policies.
- HR Software Testing: Test in-house HR software to ensure it meets operational requirements. Identify bugs, suggest improvements, and collaborate with the development team for software enhancements.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current payroll and HR processes, provide suggestions for improvement, and implement best practices.
- Compliance: Ensure payroll activities comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze payroll and HR-related reports, providing insights to management for decision-making.
- Training: Provide training and support to HR staff on the use of payroll systems and in-house HR software.
- Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries related to payroll and HR software, providing timely and accurate information.
- Documentation: Maintain and update payroll and HR process documentation to reflect changes and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR with a strong focus on payroll management.
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Knowledge in testing and providing feedback on HR software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations related to payroll.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in implementing or upgrading HRIS systems.
- Certification in payroll management or HR software testing.
