Job Summary: The HR Manager/Head is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources functions within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, managing talent acquisition and development, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive organizational culture. The HR Manager/Head will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing guidance on HR-related issues and driving initiatives to support business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Planning:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the companys business objectives.
- Partner with senior management to identify and address organizational needs and workforce planning.
- Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee recruitment processes including job postings, interviewing, and selection.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation programs.
- Manage employee performance management systems, including appraisals and development plans.
- Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Address employee relations issues, conflicts, and grievances, providing guidance and resolution.
- Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee morale and retention.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and ensure competitive compensation packages.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
- Manage workplace health and safety programs and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee performance.
- Promote professional development opportunities and career growth for employees.
- HR Administration:
- Oversee HR information systems and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare and manage HR budgets and reports, including metrics and analytics on HR activities.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate HR practices and support organizational goals.
Qualifications
- MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
