We are seeking an experienced
HR Manager to oversee human resources operations at the
IIT Ropar campus. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the organization and the IIT ecosystem, managing talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for the IIT Ropar campus.
- Ensure seamless onboarding for new hires, aligning with the company culture and campus requirements.
Employee Engagement & Development
- Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings to understand employee needs.
- Organize training programs, workshops, and initiatives to enhance employee skills and satisfaction.
- Foster a positive workplace culture by implementing employee well-being initiatives.
HR Operations
- Handle payroll, attendance, and leave management.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in HR systems and processes.
- Manage conflict resolution and grievances effectively.
Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure adherence to all legal, statutory, and organizational HR policies.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance and address any gaps proactively.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a point of contact between the organization and IIT Ropar's administration.
- Represent the company in campus-related events, forums, and activities.
Reporting & Analytics
- Provide regular HR reports and insights to senior management.
- Use data-driven approaches to improve HR functions at the campus.
Requirements
Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 3+ years in HR management, preferably in an academic or corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employee relations, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with organizational goals.
