Job Summary:
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the manufacturing company. This includes managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and HR strategy to support the company's operational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Work with department heads to understand staffing needs and requirements.Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Foster a positive and productive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.Training and Development:
Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.Compliance and Legal:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.
Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.HR Strategy and Policy Development:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the company's strategic goals.
- Work with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.Compensation and Benefits:
Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct salary reviews and benchmarking to ensure competitive pay practices.
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.HR Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare HR reports and presentations for management.
Manage HR budgets and ensure cost-effective HR operations.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of [X] years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Experience with HR analytics and metrics.- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions:- Office environment with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor.
