HR Manager (Fintech) (India Mumbai based)
Job Overview
This position is responsible for delivering seamless and efficient high-volume HR services to all employees and managers at the regional office. The role involves collaborating with the Global HR Team to address complex HR challenges that require escalation.
You will partner with the Global HR Team to manage the recruitment lifecycle and meet hiring needs by adhering to global hiring guidelines and implementing personnel procedures and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle (internal and external), including sourcing, screening, interview assessments, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.
- Manage job advertising channels to align with employer branding and ensure a steady pipeline for workforce planning.
- Identify and evaluate recruitment vendors, ensuring they meet performance standards for candidate qualifications, interview coordination, and offer management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business directions, workforce planning, and associated challenges.
- Establish and maintain effective interview scheduling and feedback tracking practices with stakeholders.
- Support and enhance employer branding initiatives and cultivate relationships with external partners (e.g., universities, job fairs, and professional event coordinators).
- Stay informed about local job market trends and competitor activities through regular research.
HR Operations & Administrative Support
- Manage comprehensive HR operations, including updating personnel files for new hires and exits, processing monthly payroll, preparing reports, and tracking employee leave records. Collaborate with stakeholders on performance management as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies, seeking guidance from the Global HR Team as necessary.
- Assist in administering benefits, compensation, employee performance programs, and annual performance reviews.
- Maintain legal compliance with HR regulations and employment laws, updating and localizing policies and procedures as required.
Employee Relations
- Provide dedicated HR advisory services to employees regarding absence, conduct, capability, grievances, organizational changes, and other employee relations matters.
- Assist in communicating and maintaining the employee handbook, directory, and organizational chart, contributing to policy development.
- Monitor key HR issues and policy changes that may impact inquiries and communicate relevant information to appropriate parties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in comprehensive HR functions within a global organization.
- Experience in the financial industry is a MUST.Proven track record in handling recruitment at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of current employment laws, regulations, and legislation.
- Familiarity with HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, and other HR technologies.
- Solid business acumen and understanding of commercial considerations for company development.
- Proficiency in English is required for this role.
