As an HR Intern at Scidecs, you will support the HR team in various administrative and operational tasks. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about HR processes, contribute to employee engagement initiatives, and assist with recruitment and onboarding activities. There is potential for this internship to transition into a full-time HR position based on performance and business needs.
Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Help with communication between candidates and the HR team.
- Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and coordinating with various departments.
Employee Records:
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.HR Documentation:
Help prepare and manage HR documentation, such as employee handbooks, policy updates, and compliance records.Employee Engagement: Contribute to employee engagement activities, including organizing events and surveys to gauge employee satisfaction.
- Training and Development: Assist in scheduling and coordinating training sessions and workshops.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including managing correspondence and handling day-to-day HR inquiries.HR Projects:
Participate in various HR projects and initiatives, providing support and contributing ideas.Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees and candidates.Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in managing documents and records.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software or systems is a plus.
Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.Adaptability:
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities. Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.- Previous internship or related experience in HR or administrative roles is a plus but not required.
A strong interest in HR practices and a desire to build a career in Human Resources.
