Location: Mumbai (includes three days of travel per week to Lonavala)
Reporting to: Chairman and Managing Director
Employment Type: Full-time (Six-day working, office-based)
About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic HR Head to lead human resource development across the diverse business verticals of the Della Group, including Della Luxury Products, Della Resorts, Della Adventures, Della Data, Della Factory, and Della Leaders Club. This position will play a key role in developing methodologies, creating SOPs, and ensuring streamlined operations in collaboration with the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD).
The role involves working closely with support functions, inter-departmental teams, and IT, as well as contributing to strategic business planning, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives. With three days based in Mumbai and three days in Lonavala, the company provides travel and in-transit accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Human Resource Development:
- Develop methodologies and SOPs for each department.
- Create, update, and maintain organizational charts in alignment with CMD directives.
- Coordinate with inter-departmental teams and support functions to understand workflows and improve efficiency.
- Assist in onboarding, including introductions of new joiners across teams.
- Work on performance improvement plans (PIPs) and develop comprehensive methodologies for PIP implementation.
- Strategic Planning & Coordination:
- Collaborate with the CMD on business planning, requirements, and trackers.
- Monitor departmental progress and report updates as requested by the CMD.
- Partner with IT to ensure asset management, server optimization, and support for operational needs.
- Recruitment & Talent Management:
- Support the interview process and ensure the recruitment tracker is updated regularly.
- Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Budgeting & Financial Oversight:
- Monitor expenses, overheads, and income/expenditure charts across all verticals.
- Discuss financial insights with the CMD to enable informed decision-making.
- Streamlining Operations:
- Ensure smooth operations across all Della Group verticals by aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Work towards optimizing workflows and improving cross-functional collaboration.
Job Expectations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably with exposure to multi-vertical businesses.
- Strong knowledge of HR development, SOP creation, and organizational workflows.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management at all levels.
- Expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adaptability to travel frequently.
