Job Overview
To support and assit in days functions of HR including hiring, Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Attendance & Leave Management, IMS, HR projects and initiatives and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support:
- Assisting with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
- Coordinating with external recruitment agencies or job boards as necessary.
- Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Onboarding:
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating orientation sessions, preparing onboarding materials, and guiding new employees through company policies and procedures.
- Liaising with various departments to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment, access, and training to perform their roles effectively.
- Training & Development:
- Supporting training initiatives by identifying training needs, coordinating training sessions, and tracking employee participation.
- Assisting in the development of training materials and resources.
- Evaluating training effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement.
- Employee Engagement:
- Support in team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee surveys.
- Addressing employee concerns and providing support to maintain a positive work environment.
- Leave and Attendance Management:
- Managing employee leave requests, including vacation, sick leave, and other types of time off.
- Maintaining accurate records of employee attendance and absences.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws regarding leave and attendance.
- Integrated Management System:
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of an integrated management system.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Providing general HR support and assistance to employees and managers on various HR-related matters.
- Staying updated on relevant HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Participating in HR projects and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and efficiency.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Qualifications
Education, Experience and Skills
- MHRM (master's in human resources) / MBA (HR) MSW or equivalent
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience as a talent acquisition and Management specialist, or similar.
