Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with prior experience in HR, particularly in handling generalist responsibilities such as managing payroll, onboarding new employees, and assisting in recruitment processes. School industry experience is considered a bonus. The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced educational setting.
- Payroll Management: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursement. Utilize HR software to manage payroll efficiently and address any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions, completing necessary documentation, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Recruitment Support: Provide support to the HR team in recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. Assist in maintaining recruitment records and updating the applicant tracking system as needed.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as necessary. Foster positive employee relations and address any grievances or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- HR Administration: Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing leave requests, and generating HR reports. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in an educational institution. School industry experience is a bonus.
Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
