Job Summary:
The HR Executive will manage all human resource operations for Nidhivan Restaurant, ensuring the effective recruitment, training, and management of staff to create a positive and efficient work environment. This role will support both the day-to-day HR functions and the long-term development of a professional, customer-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
- Conduct orientation and training sessions for new staff to ensure proper understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as the point of contact for employee queries and issues, fostering a positive work environment.
- Mediate any conflicts or grievances, ensuring quick resolution in line with company policies.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with staff to gauge job satisfaction and career development needs.
- Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance review processes, ensuring continuous feedback and development.
- Work with managers to develop employee performance improvement plans where necessary.
- Recognize high performance and reward employees appropriately.
- Training & Development:
- Identify training needs within the restaurant and coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Develop and deliver soft skills, customer service, and compliance training tailored to restaurant staff.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records (attendance, salary, leaves, etc.) in the HR system.
- Manage payroll processing in collaboration with the finance team.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, restaurant industry regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee employee benefits administration.
- Policy Development:
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with business goals.
- Ensure that restaurant staff are fully aware of and comply with all policies, including workplace safety and health protocols.
- Payroll processing including taking care of ESI, PF etc.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- Proven work experience as an HR Executive or similar role, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 20,000.00 - 30,000.00 per month
