Overview
The HR and Admin Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization by overseeing human resources and administrative functions. This position is crucial for maintaining employee satisfaction, managing compliance with labor laws, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Administer payroll and benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with labor and employment laws
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures
- Handle employee training and development programs
- Coordinate performance management and appraisal processes
- Manage administrative functions, including facilities and office management
- Handle budgeting and cost management for HR and administrative functions
- Oversee health and safety protocols and compliance
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Handle immigration and work permit processes for international employees
- Implement and monitor employee engagement initiatives
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Proven work experience as an HR and Admin Manager or similar role
- Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Experience in handling administrative functions and facilities management
- Proven track record of successful recruitment and talent acquisition
- Understanding of payroll administration and benefits management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Knowledge of administrative law and regulatory compliance
