Team HomeSlice is looking for a responsible Housekeeping Manager for overseeing the overall cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of the service apartments and Airbnb properties in Bangalore. This includes managing a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all units are consistently clean, well-maintained, and meet or exceed guest expectations.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards for all areas of the properties.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are readily available and in good condition.
- Inspect rooms and common areas regularly to identify and address any maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to resolve any necessary repairs or replacements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise housekeeping staff.
- Assign tasks and schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.
- Address any issues or concerns related to the housekeeping team.
Guest Satisfaction:
- Respond promptly to guest complaints or requests related to cleanliness or maintenance.
- Ensure that guest rooms are prepared and ready for occupancy according to established standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and implement improvements as needed.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens.
- Order supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the housekeeping budget.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement efficiency measures.
