Housekeeping Staff/Cleaner/Sweeper to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our school premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the school are clean, orderly, and well-maintained, providing a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
Sweep, mop, and clean floors in classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors.
Empty and dispose of trash and recycling from bins around the school premises.- Dust and wipe surfaces such as desks, tables, windows, and doors.
Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors when required.
- Ensure outdoor areas (like walkways and playgrounds) are clean and free from litter.
Report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or damaged equipment, to the administration.- Replenish supplies such as hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in restrooms.
Assist in setting up or cleaning after school events when required.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for students and staff.
Perform other cleaning duties as requested by the school administration.
Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory.- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and equipment.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical fitness to carry out tasks like lifting, moving, and operating cleaning equipment.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability.- A friendly and cooperative attitude, especially when interacting with students and staff.
