Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Hotel Management Faculty member. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and extensive knowledge in the field of hotel management. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing course materials, and mentoring students to excel in their academic and professional pursuits.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in various aspects of hotel management including front office operations, housekeeping, food and beverage management, and hospitality marketing.
- Develop and update course curriculum to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
- Provide academic and career guidance to students, including advising on internship opportunities and job placements.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, projects, and examinations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate real-world examples into teaching materials.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development activities.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree or higher in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.
- Industry experience in hotel management or hospitality operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
