Position: Hostel Warden (Boys)
Location: Anand International College of Engineering, Jaipur
Reports to: Campus Manager / College Administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Welfare and Discipline
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all students residing in the hostel.
- Enforce discipline and create a conducive environment for study and personal development.
- Counsel students and address any personal, social, or disciplinary issues, coordinating with the college's counseling team when necessary.
- Administrative Duties
- Maintain updated records of students in the hostel, including attendance, medical records, and emergency contact details.
- Oversee room allocation and ensure smooth occupancy management.
- Handle check-in and check-out processes for students.
- Safety and Security
- Ensure hostel premises are safe and secure, coordinating with security personnel and conducting regular inspections.
- Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies, ensuring students safety and quick resolution of issues.
- Maintain awareness of any security risks, taking preventive measures and enforcing strict entry/exit protocols.
- Facility Management
- Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the hostel premises, including common areas, bathrooms, and rooms.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure timely repairs in collaboration with the facilities department.
- Support Services
- Collaborate with dining and housekeeping services to maintain quality standards for meals and sanitation.
- Facilitate medical assistance and first aid when required, and coordinate with local medical facilities for emergencies.
- Parent Communication
- Act as the liaison between parents and the college administration regarding student welfare, behavior, and any incidents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (any discipline); relevant certification or diploma in hostel/administrative management is a plus.
- Previous experience in hostel management or a similar role, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an understanding of young adult psychology.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office) for record-keeping and reporting.
Working Hours: This is a residential position with on-call responsibilities, requiring availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
