We are looking for a Hospitality Training and Development Manager to lead the design and delivery of premier training programs for BSM's cruise hospitality sector. This role ensures that our hospitality teams aboard BSM vessels provide exceptional guest experiences and uphold top-tier service standards.
Your Mission: To equip BSM's hospitality teams with the skills, knowledge, and drive to exceed guest expectations. By developing targeted programs for front desk, housekeeping, and F&B teams, you'll foster continuous learning and service excellence, helping BSM maintain its leadership in maritime hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive training programs that support BSM's mission and business objectives, including partnerships and resources tailored to cruise hospitality operations.
- Design engaging, up-to-date training materials for cruise hospitality teams. Address specific training needs to foster continuous learning and service excellence.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead the hospitality team, including front desk, housekeeping, and F&B. Set and monitor performance standards to support skill growth and career progression.
- Facilitate training sessions using diverse methodologies. Assess program success with participant feedback and performance tracking.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts Management, F&B Management, or related field.
- Certification in training and development or experience in curriculum design is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in cruise ship hospitality, with at least 3 years in a training leadership role.
- Preferred experience in a hospitality training school or cruise line training role.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong training design and delivery skills focused on guest service excellence.
- Ability to lead diverse teams and inspire high performance.
- Budget management and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; additional languages like German or French are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
