EIM is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced professional to join our team as Guest Faculty in the Department of Hospital Administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare management, a strong academic background, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. This role involves delivering high-quality lectures, developing course materials, and contributing to the academic and professional growth of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and Lecturing: Deliver engaging and informative lectures in hospital administration, healthcare management, and related subjects.
Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with the department to develop and update course syllabi, lesson plans, and teaching materials.Student Mentorship:
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, assisting them with coursework, research projects, and career advice.Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in healthcare management.
Collaboration:
Work with other faculty members and staff to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to departmental initiatives.Research Contribution:
Engage in academic research and contribute to publications in the field of hospital administration and healthcare management.Should be willing to travelQualifications
- Educational Background: Degree /Diploma in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of relevant professional experience in hospital administration or healthcare management.Teaching Experience:
Prior teaching experience at the university level is preferred.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare systems, hospital operations, healthcare policies, and management practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.Technology Proficiency:
Familiarity with online teaching platforms and educational technology.
