Job Description: We are seeking a creative and experienced Home Textile Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, possess a keen eye for trends, and have a strong understanding of textile materials and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: - Develop innovative and marketable designs for a range of home textile products. - Stay abreast of industry trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to ensure designs are relevant and appealing. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, sourcing, and marketing to bring designs from concept to production. - Create detailed design specifications, including color palettes, patterns, and fabric selections, while adhering to budget and quality requirements. - Conduct research and analysis on emerging trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform design decisions. - Participate in product presentations, trade shows, and customer meetings to showcase new designs and gather feedback. - Maintain organized records of design concepts, sketches, and sample materials for future reference and development. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field. - Proven experience working as a textile designer in the home textiles industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing original designs and successful product launches. - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software. - Excellent understanding of textile materials, printing techniques, and manufacturing processes. - Strong creative vision and ability to translate concepts into commercially viable products. - Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Passion for design and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
