Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager - Human Resources (HR) to lead and develop our HR department. This role will be critical in aligning our HR strategy with the company's business objectives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the effective management of all HR operations. The Manager - HR will manage an HR team including a TA and HR Ops and will report directly to the Director.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Lead and manage the HR team, including Talent Acquisition and HR Operations.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II standards in all HR-related operations.
Manage employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
Oversee and manage payroll, attendance, leave management, and employee insurance.
Design and implement hybrid work policies in alignment with business needs.
Nurture a positive working environment and enhance employee engagement initiatives.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and data analytics.
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Required Qualifications
MBA in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
At least 6 years of overall HR experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a 100-people technology or IT company in India.
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Proven experience in managing HR teams and driving HR strategy in alignment with business objectives.
In-depth knowledge of HR operations including payroll, leave management, employee grievances, and employee engagement.
Experience in implementing and managing hybrid work policies.
Ability to lead by example, ensuring integrity and fostering a culture of excellence.
Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with HR-related legal compliance in India.
Experience with HR software and automation tools.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle data analytics and metrics for HR decision-making.
