Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Executive to join our Freight Forwarding division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our daily operations, including coordinating shipments, managing customs clearance, and liaising with clients and suppliers. If you are a self-starter with a passion for logistics and an ability to think outside the box, we would like to hear from you
Job Role and responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Coordinating shipments from start to finish, including arranging transport and liaising with carriers, vendors & customers.
Managing customs clearance procedures and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of all shipments and ensuring timely delivery.
Liaising with clients to provide information and updates on shipment status, and resolving any issues that arise.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, carriers and other stakeholders.
Identifying areas for improvement in the operations process and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Providing leadership and direction to team members, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.
Skills :
Self-starter
Must have good problem solving and negotiation skills
Must have good teamwork skills and strong self-motivation.
Good communication skills both to co-workers and customers, suppliers
Passionate and proactive
Thorough knowledge of Ocean Import product related procedures and requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years experience in freight forwarding operation.
