Job Responsiblities:

Job Description- Taking daily/weekly/monthly backups (File systems, Database, Application areas) using backup software like HP Omni, NetBackup, etc. Additional backup (Month end & 15th, Second Sunday, Saturday etc. should happened on time and as per specified schedule.) Scheduling and taking OS backups (Ignite, mksysb, ufsdump, etc) using menu driven programs or scripts. Daily Batch Jobs processing as per the datacenter EOD or BOD checklist sheets o IT Operations team coordination and reporting to Data Center manager. Daily Backup & batch job status along with EOD/BOD status reports to be sent to Datacenter manager for review.,
