Job Title: Automation Tester (Selenium & Cucumber)
Location: PAN INDIA
Job Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to join our QA team, specializing in automation testing with Selenium and Cucumber.
Position Overview:
We seek an Automation Tester with 3 to 10 years of experience to develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium and Cucumber, along with a solid understanding of software testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure efficient testing processes.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases and test plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation test failures and defects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Proficient in using Selenium for web application testing.
- Strong experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other automation tools (e.g., Appium, JMeter).
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and services.
