Area Sales Manager (Salon Products Division)

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Area Sales Manager to manage and expand our sales operations within the salon products division. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a field-based environment and enjoys interacting with people daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory & Channel Management:
- Drive sales within the designated territory by managing distributors and front-line sales teams.
- Actively engage in the market to understand and meet regional needs.
- Execute in-salon activations to enhance sales and brand presence.
- Sales Operations:
- Ensure efficient Route-to-Market (RTM) fundamentals, including coverage, productivity, distribution, and in-store merchandising.
- Design region-specific trade schemes to meet the unique demands of the northern region.
- Achieve a minimum of 12x ROI through strategic sales initiatives.
- New Product Launches:
- Lead the execution of new product launches in the market, ensuring excellent on-ground execution.
- Build and manage a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs), Technical Trainers, and Go-To-Market (GTM) specialists.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop strong relationships with key account salons and influence the standalone salon market.
- Drive the professional and in-salon retail business through joint business planning and relationship management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams like marketing and trade marketing to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Manage business plans, budgets, and drive projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Post-graduate from Tier 1/Tier 2 universities.
- Experience: 4-7 years in Sales/Trade Marketing, with a preference for candidates with experience in the Professional Beauty industry and the Northern region.
- Skills:
- Strong planning, project management, and commercial acumen.
- Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and execute tasks hands-on.
- Experience in cross-functional work between sales, marketing, customer service, finance, and HR.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently.
- Team Leadership: Proven experience in managing teams and driving on-ground sales efforts.
