Responsibilities:

- Assist in Highway Design:

- Support detailed highway design projects following IRC codes.

- Assist in alignment, geometric design, pavement design, and cross-sectional elements.

- Feasibility Studies:

- Participate in studies and site investigations to understand project requirements.

- Ensure alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Traffic Analysis:

- Aid in traffic analysis to optimize highway design parameters.

- Contribute to ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow.

- Hydraulic Design:

- Support integration of drainage systems, culverts, and bridges into designs.

- Assist in addressing hydraulic considerations and environmental sustainability.

- Project Support:

- Assist in project management tasks including timelines, budgets, and resource management.

- Support in delivering high-quality design deliverables within project specifications.

- Quality Assurance:

- Participate in quality assurance processes to review design calculations, drawings, and reports.

- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.

- Technical Learning:

- Learn from senior engineers and contribute to technical discussions and problem-solving.

- Stay updated on industry standards, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, M.Tech in transportation is preferred.

- 1-2 years of experience in highway design and transportation engineering.

- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, and/or OpenRoads.

- Basic understanding of IRC codes, standards, and guidelines.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of highway design engineering.
