### **Position Overview**

The School Headmaster will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the school. This includes overseeing academic programs, managing staff, engaging with the community, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for education and a commitment to student success.

### **Key Responsibilities**

- **Administrative Leadership:** Oversee daily school operations, implement and enforce school policies, and manage the school budget.

- **Educational Leadership:** Lead curriculum development, ensure high standards of teaching and learning, and integrate technology in the classroom.

- **Staff Management:** Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate teaching and support staff, and promote professional development.

- **Student Affairs:** Monitor and support student performance and behavior, enforce disciplinary procedures, and support extracurricular activities.

- **Parental and Community Engagement:** Foster strong partnerships with parents, organize school events, and build relationships with local organizations.

- **Compliance and Reporting:** Ensure compliance with educational regulations, prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records.

- **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement long-term goals, utilize data for decision-making, and continuously improve school programs.

- **Safety and Facility Management:** Maintain a safe school environment, develop emergency procedures, and oversee facility maintenance.

- **Ethical Leadership:** Serve as a role model, promote respect and inclusivity, and uphold ethical standards.

- **Professional Development:** Stay updated on educational trends and participate in professional development opportunities.

### **Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership or administration.

- Proven track record of effective school management and leadership.

- Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional best practices.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.

- Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable school environment.

### **Additional Requirements**

- Local resident of Bhawanipatna, M. Rampur, or Th. Rampur.

- Proficiency in Odia, English, and Hindi.

- Experience in supervising field operations and managing teams.

- Knowledge of program requirements and regulations.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and routine internet work.

- Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.

- Full-time commitment is a must.

- Willingness to travel regularly to M. Rampur and Th. Rampur.
