Strategic Roles and Responsibilities
- To establish, deliver, and refine a platform engineering roadmap to ensure that all platforms and products remain current, deliver value to business teams
- Harness Data analytics , AI , ML, Video analytics, Computer vision for product development in airports domain.
- Define a technology roadmap that includes deliverables focused on the building and continued improvement of solutions around the above capabilities to enable operational excellence using data driven insights.
- Ensure scalability, resilience, security, capacity, and operational maintenance of the platform/solutions being delivered.
- Evangelizing a DevOps culture through the use of automated platform capabilities underpinning customer-focused product engineering and development.
- Anticipate product features by tracking dependent product strategies and roadmaps, eliciting stakeholder input, monitoring industry advancements, and collecting business needs.
- To ensure that the infrastructure is developed in a manner that supports delivery of services to multiple platforms with appropriate levels of resilience and performance.
- To ensure a common, consistent, and flexible platform that continuously delivers interfaces, and components that drive our products and services.
- Be responsible for overall solutions architecture ensuring that our underlying platforms are designed and engineered to facilitate and empower innovative product development and promoting automation.
- Cloud first approach, leverage infrastructure as code, and enforce standards across the platform.
- Develop and build a well-documented and centralised APIs, promoting reuse and end-to-end lifecycle management.
- Oversee the design and build of platform services with appropriate levels of security, ensuring that they are secure by design. Respond swiftly to new and emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Define and implement policies to manage the platforms securely, including identity and access management, patching, and disaster recovery.
- Manage the use of data across platforms, ensuring that robust data engineering promotes and provides data to the right platforms at the right time for operational and analytical uses.
- Provide an in-depth evaluation of evolving and mature technologies, help shape the airports technology roadmap, and facilitate the delivery of the business strategy.
- Evaluate Products that would fit in the architecture framework and solve business challenges around airside, terminal side, kerb side, Cargo, Non-Aero.
- Ensure Best practices recommended for data lake, mobile app, edge etc are followed for a future proof scalable and reliable tech stack.
Stakeholder Management
- Work with CEOs, COOs of airports, Central COE team, AOCC teams,
- Work with group IT leaders of network, cyber and Architecture review board.
People Management
- Manage partner resources and Program Managers and architects.
Qualifications
B. Tech/ M.Tech IT.
20 yrs of experience.
