Job Description
Title: Head of Engineering (Partner Role)
Location: Delhi NCR or Remote
Type: Full-time / Part Time, Partner Role
Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership:
- Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for the development of our super app.
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and high-performance systems.
- Ensure the application is robust, secure, and delivers an exceptional user experience.
- Team Building and Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Product Development:
- Oversee the end-to-end development process, from concept to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and marketing, to deliver high-quality products.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
- Partnership and Collaboration:
- Work closely with cab aggregators and other partners to integrate their services seamlessly into our platform.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
- Strategic Contribution:
- Participate in strategic decision-making as a key member of the leadership team.
- Contribute to business planning, fundraising efforts, and overall company growth.
- Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in leading the development of mobile applications (iOS and Android) and backend systems.
- Strong knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g., React Native, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, RESTful APIs).
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Leadership Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset:
- Passion for startups and building innovative products.
- Willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives independently.

- Educational Background:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
