Role Head Security - Bits Pilani Mumbai Campus
Location Kamba, Kalyan
Key Result Areas/Accountabilities:
1) Supporting Actions
- Security & Safety of Campus
- To plan, develop and implement strategies in security and intelligence to meet Institutional goals. Integration of physical & Electronic Security to enhance security protection.
2) Developing Business Relationship/Liaisoning
- Ensure strategic liaison with Government agencies at Taluka & District level to have a favorable support related security & safety on long term and sort term basis
3) Security & Safety
- Security Institute / / road safety& compliance
- To generate awareness about safety and safety rules amongst all employee / students / contract labor or visitors who enter in from Main Gate to the campus / stay in the campus.
4) Visitor Management .
- Prepare SOP for visitor management.
- Reduce waiting time of Visitors.
- Ensure all required comforts are provided to the Visitor
5) Crisis Management
- Need to give support in crisis of any incident or project whether related to employees, Students, resident faculty
6) Training & development
- Ensure guards are adequately trained
- Institutional Security Subjects.
- Behavior based security Etiquettes.
7) Intelligence & Vigilance
- Formation of Vigilance Cell.
- Establishment of vigilance network to mitigate all security threats.
- Co- ordination with side Security agencies, Police/IB/ Govt. bodies.
8) Material IN/OUT Management
- Checking of required documents for validating the movement through the gates.
- Generating entries in the system.
- Ensure all vehicles entries are road worthy.
- Preference given to : Retired Defence Officer with Minimum 15 Years total Service out of which at least 5 years should be in Corporate/Educational Institutions.
- Good Communication & Interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of computer is mandatory.
